Tanvik's family rushed to the hospital the moment they heard about the accident.
Once they arrived, they went straight to Tanvik's side where the doctor explained his condition-he would need complete bed rest for at least a month.
They expressed their gratitude to Priya for saving him but she humbly insisted that it was her friend who truly saved Tanvik and she had merely assisted.
They wanted to meet her to personally thank her but she politely declined saying that Tanvik needed more attention and promised she would pass
their thanks to Amayra.

I slowly regained consciousness blinking as I opened my eyes, scanning my surroundings. It didn't take long to realize where I was.
My head, left arm, and leg were all wrapped in bandages. The dull pain and the sterile smell of the hospital air made it clear-I was in the hospital.
Just as I was processing everything, my family walked in their faces filled with worry.
I forced myself trying to sound reassuring but my voice came out flat, drained of energy. "I'm fine. Let's go home."
But they weren't letting me off that easy. They told me I needed complete bed rest for at least a month.
There was no way I was going to follow that order.
After being discharged, I was wheeled back to the mansion where my family greeted me with open arms.
I didn't have the energy to reciprocate the warmth and I am not the one who will reciprocate.
I just headed straight for my room in the wheelchair the stupid thing making me feel even weaker.
I hated feeling this way. But no worries... I'd recover quickly I always did. I couldn't stand being weak.
As I settled into bed, I couldn't help but notice that at least my right hand and leg were still functional. It was a small comfort considering everything else.
My mind kept replaying the accident and that girl kept creeping into my thoughts.
Her skin tone, her eyes, the way her chubby figer moved, and even her height-everything about her fascinated me. Why was I still thinking about her?
Suddenly, a knock on the door pulled me from my thoughts. "Come in," I muttered.
Ekansh barged in his expression serious. "The accident was intentional" he said, his voice unwavering.
I narrowed my eyes, the questions piling up. "What about the CCTV in the area where the accident happened?"
Ekansh sighed, frustration in his tone. "Bhai, there were no cameras in that area."
I clenched my jaw. "Then who took me to the hospital?"
"Two girls bhai" he replied. "One of them answered your phone call and that's how we found out where you were."
"Okay" I muttered processing the information. "Check again in that area. Look for any CCTV footage."
"Got it bhai" Ekansh said before adding "Oh and bhai... the guy from the basement in Paris-he had a skull tattoo behind his left ear."
I simply nodded in response and with that Ekansh left shutting the door behind him.
I couldn't help but smirk. Looks like I've just gained a new enemy... This is getting interesting.

I woke up late and quickly freshened up. Ordered pizza and coke for myself, and threw in some groceries while I was at it. Then I started unpacking my luggage since I hadn't had the time yesterday.
As I was organizing my room, the doorbell rang-pizza had arrived. Afterward, my groceries showed up too.
I settled in with my pizza and coke, enjoying the rare moment of peace before diving back into arranging my stuff.
Once everything was in place, I went to the kitchen to organize the groceries, and it felt like the whole day had slipped by. I took a quick shower and collapsed into bed with my laptop.
I needed to find a new job and fast. From next month, I'd be on my own for rent. My mom had made it clear-no more asking my brother for money and she told me to make sure he should not know that.
I knew Bhai would send it anyway even if I said no. I could use his money without my mom knowing but I don't want to do that.
Until now, I'd been managing my expenses by writing stories on Wattpad and doing freelance design work. It paid my regular expenses but I needed something more stable.
So, I sent an email to a local institute near my college, hoping to land a tutoring job. It seemed like a good fit-I'd be teaching students, and the material was straightforward.
I really hoped to hear back soon because college was starting in just two days.
By the time I glanced at the clock, it was 1 a.m. I hadn't even had dinner-too busy and I'd forgotten. So, I just shut my eyes and drifted off to sleep.

I was on a call, juggling office duties and mafia business frustration building with every passing minute.
Who was behind all of this chaos? Whoever it was they were too clever leaving no trace no clue.
Then my phone rang-my PA, Shivash Oberoi. "Sir, I've sent you the CCTV footage from the accident area. There was only one camera but we found it."
I simply muttered an "Okay" before ending the call.
I quickly opened the footage. It was crystal clear-the girl, the accident... and it was obvious it wasn't an accident at all. It was intentional and there in plain sight was the number plate.
Wait a minute ,after the crash the girl rushed towards me whispered something to the other girl and then ran in the opposite direction. She must have gone to get a car. Then people helped me into someone's car. It clicked. The girl I had tried to save by not hitting her... she had saved me and taken me to the hospital.
I dialed my PA's number again, instructing him to get the CCTV footage from the hospital where I was admitted and all details about two girls.
I hung up, my mind racing with thoughts of that girl.

It was another typical afternoon when I woke up feeling famished and drained of energy.
Instead of cooking, I decided to indulge myself and order a pizza, a burger, and a Coke. While I waited, I scrolled through my phone until the delivery arrived.
Excited, I grabbed the food and settled down on the sofa turning on a K-drama as I ate. Afterward, I began working on my Wattpad stories and some design projects.
As evening rolled around, a knock on the door caught me off guard. I opened it and to my surprise, there was a girl standing with her luggage and her parents.
It dawned on me that she must be my new roommate. "Hi,I'm Siya Sharma" she said, her face glowing with excitement.
"I'm Amayra Gill" I replied with a smile. Her parents are so sweet and kind were inspecting the house-two rooms, a hall and a kitchen all of which we'd share.
They offered some warm advice about taking care of each other and not skipping meals. They had to leave.
I insisted them to stay for the night since it was already late but they declined mentioning they had an early morning work.
Siya and I said our goodbyes to her parents and then came in. she moved her luggage to her room. A few minutes later, she came out and flopped onto the sofa dramatically like a cartoon character. I couldn't help but laugh a little. She didn't mind.
"Are you hungry?" I asked.
Her face lit up. "Please, I'm starving! Can you make something?" she asked eagerly.
I chuckled. "Sure, I'll make something quick."
She disappeared into her room to freshen up.
I went to the kitchen and decided to make pasta-something simple and fast.
A few minutes later, she came out in an adorable Mickey Mouse night set looking comfy and cute. I smiled at her.
She walked over to the kitchen and offered to help but I waved her off telling her it was almost done.
We carried two bowls of pasta into the living room and sat facing each other on the sofa.
Between bites, we laughed and chatted. That's when I found out we were in the same college even in the same department. She was not only my roommate but also my classmate.
By the way, I didn't mention this earlier but Siya is gorgeous. Long hair, fair skin, and a figure that could easily belong to a model.
But what truly stood out to me was her nature-cheerful, welcoming, and friendly.
Unlike anyone else I'd met, she didn't comment on my appearance or taunt me about my skin or figure.
Usually, it's the first thing people bring up but she never did. I felt like we might actually get along.
At midnight, we both retired to our rooms, exhausted but content. The start of a new chapter had begun.

I woke up to a call early in the morning. My contact on the other end informed me that he had sent over the hospital CCTV footage and details about the girls involved. I didn't bother saying much just cut the call with a quick "Okay."
The pain from my fracture hit me as I tried to move.I knew it was going to take a month to fully heal just like the doctor said. But I wasn't about to let that stop me. I had other matters to take care of and I wasn't going to let the accident slide.
I carefully got freshened up when Ekansh walked into my room. "Bhai, we caught the truck driver," he said in his calm voice.
I raised an eyebrow, silently prompting him to continue.
"He confessed. He said he was paid to crash your car" Ekansh explained. "He mentioned a masked man handed him the money and provided your car details, along with your arrival time."
I nodded, digesting the information.
Ekansh frowned. "Bhai, I must say, they're spying on you. How else would they know you were alone without bodyguards and your route to the mansion? Whoever they are, they're not just trying to hurt you-they're trying to kill you."
I met his gaze, frustration building as I slowly tried to stand from the bed. Ekansh immediately moved toward me but I stopped him with a raised hand and walked slowly to the balcony.
He followed me, concern still written all over his face.
"No, Ekansh" I said ,my voice low. "They don't want to kill me. They know it's not that easy."
I looked out into the distance my mind already racing. "Check where that masked man handed the money to the truck driver. Find any CCTV footage from that area and figure out which car the masked man arrived in. You know what to do, don't make me remind how to work... Now, go." I groaned in my dangerous voice.
"Okay, Bhai," Ekansh said in a scared tone before leaving the room.
I stood there for a while processing everything. My mind wouldn't stop racing.
Finally, I took my phone from my pocket and pulled up the hospital CCTV footage. It was clear as day-how she looked so worried ,how her face reflected concern. She left after my family arrived but didn't meet them. Another girl met with my family and they both left together in a car.
I checked the details of both girls the photos attached to their profiles. One name stood out Amayra Gill.
A smirk tugged at my lips as I muttered her name under my breath "๐ผ๐ข๐๐ฎ๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ก๐ก".
