A man stood on the balcony of his room, dressed in a sharp three-piece suit. His broad shoulders and well-built frame were a testament to his strength. With his phone pressed to his ear, he listened intently to the other person on the line. At the end of the conversation, he cut the call with a simple, "I'm coming."

This man was none other than" Tanvik Suryawanshi", 29 years old, the feared Mafia king, and king of Jaipur. His mere presence sent a wave of intimidation, and his name alone was enough to instill terror in anyone who heard it. His rage was legendary, and few dared to cross him.

He's incredibly protective of his family, and his parents have always kept their lives private. The world don't know how they look-except their names.

A knock echoed through the room, and Tanvik turned to find his brother, Ekansh Suryawanshi, standing at the door.

"Bhai, we need to head to the gown down before leaving for India," Ekansh said.

Tanvik nodded in response, his silence speaking volumes as he turned and walked out, the weight of his power and anger filling the air.

In the dark, dimly lit basement, various tools for torture were scattered around. In the center of the room, a man was tied up, naked, with deep cuts all over his body. His hands and legs nails had been brutally removed, and he was covered in blood.

Suddenly, the sound of echoing footsteps filled the air, commanding attention. It was Tanvik, followed closely by his brother, Ekansh. As Tanvik stepped into the light, his blank expression was visible.

His PA, Shivansh Oberoi, approached him and reported that the man had not spoken. They had been watching him for two days, but he refused to reveal who had sent him.

Tanvik slowly walked over to the bound man and picked up a tool from the side table. He traced it from the man's jaw to his chest, then down to his abdomen, stopping at his groin. The threat was clear.

In a dangerous tone, Tanvik demanded, "Who sent you here?" The man was too terrified to respond.

Without warning, Tanvik used the tool to squeeze the man's groin, inflicting unbearable pain. The man screamed and then lost consciousness.

Tanvik straightened up and turned to Shivansh. "Torture him to death,If he still doesn't talk, go ahead and you know what to do."

Shivansh, who worked without emotion like Tanvik, was different in his personal life. But here, in this dark place he completely different.

After leaving the basement, Ekansh and I made our way straight to the private jet, eager to return to India after six long years. My family was waiting for me, and I couldn't afford to be late anymore. The entire journey felt like a blur, filled with nothing but thoughts-work and the mysterious man from the basement who had been spying on my every move.

After what felt like hours, we finally landed in India. It had been so long since I was home. Here, we had our headquarters for Suryawanshi Enterprises, though it was primarily managed from London.

Ekansh turned to me and mentioned he needed to stop by the office to take care of some urgent matters before heading home. He suggested I go ahead, and I simply nodded.

I headed toward my car and waved the driver off, signaling that I would drive today. Ekansh had always worried about my safety, not allowing any guards to follow me. But knowing me too well, he didn't push back this time.

As I sped towards Suryawanshi Mansion, breaking traffic signals without a second thought, something unexpected happened. A girl stepped in front of my car, crossing the street with an almost innocent grace. From a distance, I couldn't help but notice how stunning she was-her skin, her figure, and the way she moved with such care, her expression almost too cute to ignore. I swerved my car to avoid hitting her, slamming the brakes, but out of nowhere, a truck came barreling toward me. The collision sent my car spinning out of control, flipping over and landing upside down. The world around me went black, and I couldn't keep my eyes open.

I woke up from a long nap, knowing I had to meet my friend Priya Mehra. I quickly got ready and jumped into a cab, headed to meet her. The drive was about an hour from my room, but I didn't mind.

When I arrived at my destination, I called Priya to let her know I was there.

She answered on the first ring, saying, "I'm opposite you, cross the road." As I looked up, I saw her waving beside her car, and I couldn't help but smile. It had been so long since I last saw her.

I started crossing the road carefully, but out of nowhere, a car sped toward me. It swerved just in time to avoid hitting me, slamming on the brakes, but before I could process what had happened, a truck appeared, crashing into the first one. The impact sent the car spinning and it landed upside down. I froze in shock-it all happened in seconds.

When I snapped out of it, I heard Priya's worried voice calling out, asking if I was okay. But I didn't answer her. I was already running toward the wrecked car. By the time I got there, other people were already trying to help the person, pulling him out of the car and calling for an ambulance. I knew it would take too long for the ambulance to arrive, so I quickly turned to Priya, telling her, "Bring your car."

Without a second thought, she ran to her car. I asked the bystanders for help, and together, we managed to get the injured man into the back seat. His head rested on my lap as Priya sped toward the hospital. We rushed through traffic, and as soon as we arrived, doctors were there to take him for treatment. He was in bad shape-multiple fractures on his limbs, neck, and back.

As the doctors took him away, I let out a breath I didn't realize I'd been holding. A nurse came over, handing me his belongings-his phone, wallet, and watch-without even asking who I was. As I took the items, his phone rang, and I saw the name Mom flash on the screen. I picked it up without thinking.

"Tanvik, where are you? We've been trying to reach you for hours!" came a panicked voice.

I tried to calm her down, "He was in an accident, and he's in the hospital now."

There was a long pause, then a deeper voice, a man's voice, said, "We're coming. Stay there."

I hung up, feeling a sense of dread. Priya came over, her voice full of curiosity. "Why did you help him? There were other people around."

"I don't know," I answered honestly.

She didn't press me further, and we sat in silence until a doctor came in to give us some good news. Tanvik was out of danger, though he had some fractures. I felt a wave of relief wash over me. Priya, noticing my exhaustion, suggested I freshen up, so I left her and told her to stay here, then I went to the washroom.

When I returned, Tanvik's family had arrived. They were speaking with Priya, and I was walking towards them, but Priya came up to me first. "I told them everything-how you saved him. They were thanking me, but I told them it was you who helped him."

I nodded, but I didn't feel like meeting his family. "He needs their attention more," I said
Priya said"I already told them no need of thanking and formalities. "

I nodded, and we left the hospital. As we walked out, I stole a glance at Tanvik's family before heading back to my room.

Priya drove me home, but it was already late. I offered for her to stay, but she said her parents were probably worried. She left after dropping me off, saying goodbye and reminding me to get some rest.

I watched her drive away, the night's events weighing heavily on my mind.

I closed the door behind me and stepped into the shower, letting the warm water wash away the chaos of the day.

Afterward, I slipped into a robe, completed my skincare routine, and changed into comfy shorts and a t-shirt before crawling into bed. But sleep didn't come easily. My mind kept replaying the events from earlier, especially the accident.

How he was driving so fast and how he got into accident. He was a giant-literally, it took at least eight people to help move him. When his head rested on my lap while driving toward hospital in that situation also I couldn't help but notice how handsome he was. When the doctor told us he was out of danger, I finally felt some relief, but then Priya's question hit me like a ton of bricks. Why did you help him?

I didn't have an answer. The truth was, I wasn't the type to get involved in situations like that. But when I saw him, something just clicked-I couldn't stop myself.

His family must be freaking out, I thought. I hope he's okay.

Why am I even worrying about him? Stupid Amayra, I scolded myself.

Wait... What was his name again? His mom had said it on the phone... Yes "𝙏𝘼𝙉𝙑𝙄𝙆".
